Elfetex: Brownfield conversion of SAP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4HANA version

Elfetex s.r.o., a major electrical wholesaler and a member of the global Wűrth group, decided to upgrade its corporate information system and switch to SAP S/4HANA. They chose Mibcon as its implementation partner.

In the brownfield conversion project from the original ERP system (SAP ECC 6.0) to the SAP S/4HANA system, two main steps awaited us: the transition to the SAP HANA database and the productive conversion of the system to the new version. In connection with this, it was necessary to adjust the historical customer developments for the SAP S/4HANA version and to identify and reimplement the upgraded and newly replaced functionalities. At the same time, we helped the customer with the relicensing of the existing license agreement as part of the licensing consultancy.

The successfully managed conversion project brought a number of benefits to Elfetex: a significant increase in the performance of selected functionalities, mobile access to the system for all users and opening the way to the new SAP EWM logistics system, which is an integrated part of the system in the SAP S/4HANA version.
