2024 jsme na konferenci společnosti SAP prezentovali naše řešení pro automatické přidělování práce na mobilní terminály skladníků nad SAP EWM.

The SAP Innovation Day for Supply Chain conference was this year’s main gathering of SAP experts in supply chain and manufacturing process management, along with representatives from leading manufacturing and logistics companies utilizing SAP systems. Mibcon was one of the main partners of this event and also a presenter.

The conference focused on key topics that resonate in the field of supply chains:

  • digitization of warehousing within the SAP S/4HANA platform,
  • optimization of manufacturing processes using modern technologies and
  • effective management of change processes in SAP solutions.

Mibcon: Automatic Work Assignment to Warehouse Workers’ Mobile Terminals

One of the key topics of the conference was a presentation by our solution architect and SAP EWM specialist, Martin Prokop. He introduced a solution for automatic work assignment to warehouse workers’ mobile terminals, enabling dynamic and optimized allocation of warehouse tasks based on a comprehensive analysis of input information and priorities.

Martin Prokop is our key Mibcon expert on solutions for enhancing the efficiency of warehouse processes and the area of warehouse management.

During the twenty-minute presentation, he guided the audience through the topic of handling warehouse tasks and the opportunities for optimizing the activities of warehouse workers while utilizing handling equipment and considering task priorities. He explained the bottlenecks that our solution addresses and how it expands upon the capabilities of the standard SAP EWM

Automatic work assignment to the mobile terminal is one of the 17 add-on solutions for SAP EWM that Martin Prokop and his WMS team have developed during their extensive experience in warehouse logistics. (You can find more about the SAP EWM add-ons here.)

Judging by the feedback and numerous questions during the breaks after the presentation, our solution captured the interest of the conference participants. It has been confirmed that Czech manufacturing companies are keenly interested in optimizing warehouse processes in today’s era of digitalization and the pressure for more efficient operations.
