Discover our solution for paperless confirmation of material dispatch after picking, using simple NFC employee card scanning directly on the warehouse worker’s mobile terminal.

Business case

Warehouse dispatch is carried out for an internal requester. In the original process, it was necessary to print a delivery note, which the requester had to sign. Authentication of the requester was done visually, without system support.

The standard process allows, for example, the printing of a material delivery note, which the requester signs to confirm receipt of the material. The delivery note is printed in two copies: one is kept by the requester, and the other is archived in the warehouse.

Our solution eliminates the need for printing and signing delivery notes. Material handover is confirmed with a quick and simple scan of the NFC employee card directly on the warehouse worker’s mobile terminal. This ensures:

• authentication of the requester (the employee number is stored on the card in encrypted form)
• elimination of the need to print, sign, and archive the delivery note
• acceleration of the dispatch process

This allows the dispatch to be completed quickly and smoothly.
