On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, we shared the latest updates from SAP and Mibcon in HR digitalization solutions with the participants of our traditional HXM conference.
The program of this year’s HCM Breakfast, organized by our HCM division under the leadership of its director, Jaroslav Páleník, featured a total of 10 presentations divided into 4 sessions.
A new addition compared to previous years was a presentation by a representative of one of our customers, showcasing a success story in HR process digitalization. And since this customer was O2 Czech Republic a.s., it was truly something to look forward to.
In the opening session, Radomír Loprais, our solution architect at MIBCON a.s., introduced two digitalization mib:solutions for HR – our employee tax solution called mib:daňovka (in the version updated for 2025) and mib:forms, a range of electronic requests and confirmations enabling the transition to paperless processes and their integration with SAP.
Using examples of specific mib:forms in SAP, he demonstrated how clearly and easily employee requests can be created, shared, and processed, as well as how electronic confirmations (e.g., Certificate of Taxable Income, Employment Record Sheets, etc.) can be issued and participants notified throughout the process. He also highlighted that both solutions have already been successfully implemented for several of our customers.
In the next section, he briefly introduced the features of our new applications: mib:persona, designed for digitalizing the onboarding, flexboarding, and offboarding processes, and OrgChart+, which includes manager and employee self-service, Employee Profile, Managerial OrgChart, and a traditional Employee OrgChart visualizing the entire organizational structure.
The highlight of the morning session was a presentation by Mr. Ivan Šeda, HRIS Manager at O2 Czech Republic a.s. In his talk, Digitalization of Employment Documents at O2, he walked the audience through the milestones of a project aimed at transitioning entirely “from paper” to electronic documents.
He described the journey from paper-based processes to a fully digitalized HR world and explained the systems and tools O2 Czech Republic chose to rely on during this transformation. He also emphasized the role of the SmartHR module from our Mibcon Digital Platform in driving this digitalization project forward.
In the afternoon session, our HXM consultants, Michal Průcha and Sandra Pelerová, presented the latest updates in SAP SuccessFactors and the current directions of its development. The discussion covered the integration of artificial intelligence, including the AI assistant for HR (Joule), the significant advancements in the Time Tracking module, and the possibilities of connecting SAP SuccessFactors with Microsoft Teams.
The SAP SuccessFactors session also included an introduction to our best practice package for implementing this cloud solution (mib:BPS) and insights from our experience in integrating SAP SuccessFactors with core systems.
Michal Průcha provided an overview of the integration platforms we use for both simple and complex integration scenarios (Integration Center, SAP BTP). He demonstrated our approach to these scenarios through concrete examples, offering the audience a clear understanding of the processes involved.
The afternoon presentations by experts from MIBCON a.s. concluded with a session led by our HXM specialist, Monika Anýžová. In her talk, she reviewed the current SAP HR solutions and outlined a recommended strategy for transitioning to new solutions, considering the upcoming end of support for SAP ERP HCM and the SAP S/4HANA HCM Compatibility Pack.
Conference participants gained valuable insights into the steps they may need to take in the near future, with the reassurance that we are ready to assist them along the way.
